Secretary Kathleen Sebelius on Daily Show : ‘We Live Sicker and Die Younger Than any Developed Nation’

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius was on the Daily Show tonight and Jon Stewart worked very hard to try to understand the three separate proposed bills (1 in the House and 2 in the Senate, each over a thousand pages long) for public healthcare in the United States.

Though, some questions lingered and not everything made complete sense, Stewart managed to ask the questions that are on most Americans minds about the highly volatile issue of public healthcare in the United States of America:

Secretary Sebelius:

“We gotta shift the system from a sickness system to a wellness system…what we have is unsustainable, unconscionable, and unacceptable.”

Jon Stewart:

“I been an American all my life, we like sitting and things that taste good.”
