On last night’s episode of the Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert discussed the impending Afghan election with political advisor to the Dr. Ashraf Ghani campaign, James Carville. Colbert’s commentary of the Western appointed Karzai government was spot on, at the same time, Colbert pointed out the ridiculousness of wanting to limit ties to the United States when accepting World Bank funds for your struggling nation.
