Think about it.
Perhaps the continued treatment of Obama as President (positive or negative) will serve as a large scale rumination on American perception of their democracy and the implications of race in that democracy. Will an educated man of mixed-race be allowed to advance democracy in the United States or will he be stunted every step of the way?
Will people continue to question his Americanness and throw charges of racism his way because they want a return to the America of the prior 43 Presidential Administrations?
