Blair responded by saying ‘you can’t go anywhere in this part of the world without somebody protesting,” trying to take the whole event in stride.
But moreso than the statement having to do with the part of the world Blair found himself in, it should serve as proof that if you are going to advance the use of the term ‘terrorist’ and the concept of ‘terrorism’ to incite fear in people all over the world for political gain to the detriment of entire races of people, then you should be willing to take that criticism right back.
Simply put, if you support an apartheid regime and call others ‘terrorist’ then you should realize and accept the fact that you too at some point will be called a terrorist by someone else:
