Video : Ron Artest Music Video ‘Afghan Women’
Los Angeles Laker, Ron Artest, has released a video entitled ‘Afghan Women,’ yes, he is apparently serious.
With lyrics like: ‘burn in your face, blow out the candles, and let the smoke clear’ and ‘take your hands off her, show her love, show her love’ it’s no Rhythm Nation but I suppose it’s well intentioned enough.
Though I wish someone would have pointed out the possible political implications of using RAWA clips in the video.
I understand you mean well Ron, but since you say yourself ‘I wish I could be there,’ you actually can and your millions could actually help these women A LOT. I’m just sayin’…
