Dr. Bashardost on Karzai and Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Deserving of Nobel Prizes in Election Fraud

In an interview dated today, the Times of London spoke to Dr. Ramazan Bashardost who came in third in the August Presidential elections in Afghanistan.

Dr. Bashardost takes Dr. Abdullah and Hamid Karzai to task as two parts of the same problem in Afghanistan. According to Dr. Bashardost, no change can come to Afghanistan until leaders like Dr. Abdullah and Karzai are stripped of their power:

We have lost a great chance to resolve the crisis in Afghanistan by building a new political system,” he told The Times. “Mr Karzai and Dr Abdullah are part of the problem. As long as they are in power, we cannot find peace with the Taleban, fight corruption, or fight the narcotics trade…We should create a Nobel prize for election fraud and give it to Mr Karzai as king and Dr Abdullah as queen”
