Palin : Settlement Expansion Should Continue
Remember when Sarah Palin went on and on during the Vice Presidential debates about how much of a friend to Israel she is? Well, it seems Palin’s friendship has given her some sort of super power that enables her to see the future (too bad it didn’t help out much during the election).
Aside from Palin’s ominous statements about an influx of Jewish immigrants to Israel, the most disturbing part of this statement is that Palin never once makes reference to the Palestinians and why Obama initially called for a halt to the expansion the settlements:
“I disagree with the Obama administration on [Israeli settlements],” Palin told Walters. “I believe that the Jewish settlements should be allowed to be expanded upon, because that population of Israel is, is going to grow. More and more Jewish people will be flocking to Israel in the days and weeks and months ahead. And I don’t think that the Obama administration has any right to tell Israel that the Jewish settlements cannot expand.”
