Video : Dana Perino Forgets 9/11
Apparently George W. Bush’s forth and final Press Secretary, Dana Perino had forgotten all about the 9/11 terrorist attacks when she stated on FOX News that the Ft. Hood shootings needed to be labeled a “terrorist attack,” because the United States must face up to the truth in order to shield the public from future heinous acts.
There’s only one glaringly large problem in Perino’s statement, the fact that she quickly said there was not a terrorist attack under President George W. Bush’s term. Yes, that‘s what she said on national Television. Literally. So Ms. Perino, what exactly would you call the pile of dirt and rubble in Lower Manhattan where the World Trade Center towers used to light up the New York syline, reconstruction?
If Perino is allowed to get away making such an outlandish statement with critics from both sides of the aisle pointing out the ridiculousness and disrespectful nature of her statement (accidental or not), then the terrorists may indeed have won because the spokesperson for the Administration that launched the war on terror is now acting as if one of the most heinous and hateful acts of this or any century never occurred:
“We need to face up to it so that we can prevent it from happening again…We did not have a terrorist attack under President Bush‘s term“
“If you say Allah hu Akbar before the shooting and you reached out to Al Qaeda 20 times, it‘s a pretty good indication you‘re a terrorist sympathizer“
As for Sean Hannity’s assertion that stating Allah-hu-Akbar somehow makes you a terrorist, there is nothing more to say other than that is blatantly racist and it is precisely statements like that, that drive American Muslims into the arms of Al Qaeda.
Hey, two wins for the terrorists in a single show, I wonder if this is some kind of world record for idiocy?
