‘Taliban Have Taken Over’ Civilian Homes
Speaking from Marjah, CNN’s Atia Abawi speaks about the importance of Operation Moshtarak. Abawi reiterates that the success of Operation Moshtarak can be seen as decisive in the course of the U.S. Mission in Afghanistan. Abawi also states that the Afghan soldiers, still lacking proper training, are not taking a lead role in confronting the Taliban:
