Obama’s Secret Afghan Visit : Sign of Strength or Show of Fear?
The official White House line about President Barack Hussein Obama’s clandestine trip to Afghanistan under the cover of night was that due to security concerns the President had to make a secret trip to Afghanistan.
Of course, with Obama having no interaction with any Afghans aside from officials within the Karzai Administration (not even the Afghan press), one has to wonder what insights President Obama has gained during his in and out visit to the Afghan capital city?
Add to that the fact that this is President Obama’s first visit to Afghanistan as Commander in Chief of the U.S. Armed Forces, which comes two years after his first ever visit to the war torn nation as then Senator from Illinois:
