Pop Justice is taking to the defense of poor, Leona Lewis – who Idolator called ‘excessively inoffensive‘ – and asking its readers to be nice to a pop star today.

Of course, if you can’t be nice at least pick a target worth punching like a certain techni-colored internet scourge (again, Idolator‘s brilliant words) or one who beats up on girls:

» It should be possible for popstars to sign copies of mediocre books without fear of being hit around the head by a bellend, and it is the absolute right of anybody to go about their daily job without fear of being punched, unless they are Perez Hilton.

» If you really need to punch a popstar channel your energies in the direction of one who deserves it, like Chris Brown.

Meanwhile, certain technicolor-haired scourges of the Internet out there are continuing their wahhmbulance-chaser’s vendetta against Clarkson, spreading rumors about her being dropped over this whole kerfuffle thanks to committing the cardinal sin of Angering The Clive (even though I thought Clive Davis’ post-presidential position at Sony Music was pretty much an honorary title that allowed him to save face and assist with Whitney Houston album launches). Of course, as many readers of this blog noted when this story broke, this may not be a bad thing in the long run for the inaugural American Idol, since she would then be freed from working with hacks-for-hire like Tedder. Perhaps the gossip in question should concentrate on his own soon-to-flop Frenchman and his sister’s MS Paint skills, and stop talking shit about someone because she has the (100% correct) opinion that he’s pretty much the worst thing ever? Oh wait, he never will, because he is a big overgrown baby who will be torturing all of us via appearances on shows like I Consider Myself A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Purgatory until after he’s dead, reminding us all of the worst excesses of this on-the-balance-pretty-awful decade.

Kid CuDi and Little Boots Live at SXSW

Kid CuDi has been enamored with Little Boots‘ cover of his hit single Day ‘n‘ Nite for awhile now.

On Saturday, CuDi finally got the chance to perform the track live on the SXSW stage with Little Boots herself as hipsters the world over spontaneously combusted.

Despite Little Boots’ forgetting the lyrics, its still a dope taste of things to come if CuDi’s wish of a studio version of the two Blog darlings comes to fruition.

I’m still holding out for a CuDi assisted Meddle.
