If the Afghan Government can make a serious commitment to the restoration of historic and cultural sites throughout the embattled nation it will prove beneficial to both the Afghans of Afghanistan and the outside world, who will see the restored sites as proof of Afghanistan’s rich history, accomplishments, and the existence of a civil society [...]
